Welcome to First Grade!

Hello families and students!

We are going to have the best year together laughing, learning, and exploring! 

I grew up in the Burnsville School District. I attended Winona State University where I graduated with a K-6 Elementary License with an emphasis in 6-8 Mathematics. I received my Master of Arts with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. My teaching began with Minneapolis Public Schools, where I spent two years as a preschool reading tutor and an additional year as a fourth grade teacher and then 7 years as a kindergarten teacher at Falcon Ridge here in New Prague. It is such a pleasure to return for my 2nd year with the Eagle View community. 

When I am away from school I love to spend time in Burnsville, where I live. I love running, reading, cheering on MN sports teams, and visiting my family (one of my brothers lives in Chicago and the rest of my immediate family lives in Austin, TX!)
