About Me
About Mrs. Hoppert
I’m a proud New Prague graduate and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University. I began my teaching career in Florida, where I taught fourth grade for nearly four years at Winter Springs Elementary. During that time, I worked with students from a variety of backgrounds and gained valuable experience in a different school culture.
My husband, Thomas, and I decided to move to Elko New Market to be closer to my family—and we love calling this community home! This year will be my 17th year teaching fourth grade at Eagle View Elementary. I also earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and completed a Reading Licensure Program. Outside of my classroom, I enjoy being involved in our school community as a member of our PTO board, where I help with communications and social media, as well as co-editing our school yearbook.
I hope you were able to enjoy some special family moments this summer like I did! Our youngest daughter, Baylor, turned two in July. She is so much fun at this age—she’s silly, learning new words every day, and definitely keeps us busy! Of course, she is spoiled by her big sisters. Braelyn turned 8 in June and is excited to start 3rd grade with Mrs. Ries! Our oldest, Brynlee, is looking forward to starting 7th grade at New Prague Middle School!
Much of our summer was spent at the ball fields, watching Brynlee and Braelyn play 12U and 8U softball for NP FastPitch and cheering on my husband as he played for the Lonsdale Aces & Jokers DRS teams. We also celebrated the 4th of July in my husband’s hometown of Sheboygan, WI, spent time camping with friends at Kamp Dels, and enjoyed local waterparks and county fairs. It was a busy summer, but we loved making lots of memories together!
When I’m not in the classroom or driving kids to practice, I love going for walks, spending time with family and friends, and taking photos to capture the moments along the way. I’m looking forward to another wonderful year at Eagle View and can’t wait to get to know each of my students and families!
