Welcome to First Grade!

Hello families and students!

We are going to have the best year together laughing, learning, and exploring!

I grew up in the Burnsville School District. I attended Winona State University where I graduated with a K–6 Elementary License with an emphasis in 6–8 Mathematics. I later earned my Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University.

My teaching career began with Minneapolis Public Schools, where I spent two years as a preschool reading tutor and an additional year as a fourth grade teacher. I then spent seven years as a kindergarten teacher at Falcon Ridge in New Prague. It is such a pleasure to return for my third year with the Eagle View community!

When I am away from school, I love spending time at home in Bloomington with my fiancé and our dog. I also enjoy running, reading, cheering on Minnesota sports teams, and visiting family. One of my brothers lives in Chicago, and the rest of my immediate family lives in Austin, Texas!
