Daisy Castillo, Eagle View Social Worker
Welcome students and parents! I'm Daisy Castillo, the new social worker at Eagle View Elementary. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University, Mankato. In addition to my degree, I am also a Licensed Social Worker through the Minnesota Board of Social Work.
This will be my first year as a school social worker, and I couldn't be more excited to join the wonderful team at Eagle View. I am so excited to be back in the district, having previously worked with the WRAP program. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my BIG family, reading, and enjoying the outdoors!
As your school social worker, I help students with various challenges they face at school or home. My role involves supporting their emotional and social development, working with teachers and parents to address any issues, and providing resources to help students succeed academically and personally. In addition to helping with the challenges, I also try to make school a fun and enjoyable place for everyone. I believe that a little bit of fun can go a long way in making the school experience positive and memorable for all students.
Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns. I'm here to support and provide resources for both your student and your family. Call me at 952-758-6025 or email me at [email protected]
