Meet Mrs. Anderson

Greetings!

My name is Johna Anderson.  I am excited to begin my seventeenth year teaching with New Prague Schools.  Prior to being a special education teacher at  Eagle View, I was an Interventionist at Falcon Ridge for sixteen years.  Prior to that I taught first grade and third grade at Prior Lake-Savage Schools.  I earned my Bachelor's of Science and Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.  In addition, I received a K-12 Reading Licensure from Hamline University.

My husband Greg and I live in Savage with our Morkie, Stella (sadly we said good-bye to her brother Stuart last summer).  When I'm away from school I enjoy reading, gardening, kayaking, spending time with friends & family and cheering on the Gophers and the Vikings!

Helping students become stronger learners is a passion of mine.  If I am fortunate enough to work with your child, I welcome communication and forming a partnership.  It truly does take a village to prepare our young people for the world that awaits them.   I am honored to be a part of their team!
