Welcome to 5th Grade!
I am pleased to welcome you this school year! I am looking forward to having your child as a student. Fifth grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful learning activities to celebrate. One of my most important goals is to create a family of learners in my classroom. I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners. In order to accomplish this, I have planned a variety of activities to emphasize and reinforce this goal. It is my hope that you will support and encourage this vision
About Me
I am Megan Storlie and I am from Jordan, MN. Aside from teaching, my family and friends are the most important to me. I live in New Prague with my husband and our daughter. My dogs, Louie & Ellie, also hold a special place in my heart! In my free time, you can find me spending quality time with them, going to the lake, playing volleyball, shopping at Target, reading, and exploring new places! I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2019 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Child Development. I taught 3rd grade in Elkhart, Indiana for a year and 4th grade at Raven Stream for three years. I am excited to be teaching 5th grade at Eagle View!
